What to bring for carbine class:


Be sure to verify the requirements and round count in the course description. There will be malfunction drills and drawing from the holster in this class, so a holster is required -
collapsible nylon or leather holsters not allowed. No RELOADS are allowed in this course, only factory ammunition is allowed. Hearing Protection is Required. If prescription glasses are necessary proper side shields must be used. Minimum age is 16 with a parent/guardian and only one minor per adult parent/guardian.

  • Minimum 500 rounds for carbine and 150 rounds for handgun
  • Firearms must be fully functional and have all factory safety devices
  • Either single or 2 point sling
  • Minimum 3 working magazines and pouch for both carbine and handgun
  • Properly fitted rigid holster for handgun that completely covers the trigger
  • Minimum 5 "Dummy Rounds" or "Snap Caps" for both carbine and handgun
  • Handheld flashlight with tail cap switch capable of constant or intermittent "ON" (weapon mounted lights are fully acceptable)
  • Electronic hearing protection is strongly encouraged
  • Wrap around style eye protection
  • Gloves, elbow pads and knee pads are recommended
  • Hat with a bill is required
  • Basic cleaning kit for your specific caliber
