"Last Sunday I took a defensive carbine class with Latent Force. From the couple other defensive firearm classes I have taken, I always feel like I need to be watching out of the corner of my eye to make sure nobody is sweeping me with their firearm or violating other safety rules. This was untrue in every way at this class, the instructors were all very knowledgeable and refused to cut corners. They made me feel safe and secure, and I was able to relax and really focus on learning.
Apart from the safety reasons, I loved this class. I seriously learned a ton. Each instructor had their own way of doing things, so I got a few different opinions and choose which worked best for me. Different from the other classes, this course was stressful as hell. I was sweaty and fatigued. This is a good thing because I had to rely on my training and muscle memory to accomplish the tasks. There simply wasn't enough time to think about every detail which, I assume, is what it would feel like in a real life situation. I feel much more prepared having taken this class." - Tac C.
