We are happy to call Cowtown Range home for our 2017 training season. Cowtown is a very unique training and shooting facility due to its picturesque, natural high desert setting and mountainous topography. The Cowtown Range property has numerous hills, cliffs and valleys and is situated a few miles south of Lake Pleasant dam adjacent to the Agua Fria River bed and surrounded by State and County lands. Cowtown Range’s unique terrain is what draws defense training specialists to the site, making it one of the most unique shooting and training facilities in the country. The terrain is a mixture of washes, open spaces and hills which is ideal for long-range precision shooting, camouflage, tracking, K-9 exercises, and advanced night vision exercises. None of these training missions are feasible on traditional flat shooting ranges.

Jeff and his team create components that offer new levels of function and versatility, using the latest design technologies and manufacturing processes. their cumulative industrial design experience allows them to find unique solutions from new directions. Arguably, one of the finest shooting ranges in the southwest. This modern and beautiful full service range is located in the Buckeye Hills Recreation Area just west of Phoenix in Buckeye, AZ. This is where we choose to conduct our classes because of its wonderful amenities. They are open to the public and have rifle and pistol ranges, archery ranges and state of the art, first of its kind in Arizona, Trap and Skeet range. Joe Foss is worth the drive.
